We have a large and diverse client base including newspaper and magazine publishers, music promoters, food and drink businesses and technology companies and work closely with clients, delivering strategic advice to protect and expand value in their brands. We are moving into a new phase of growth and have an exciting opportunity for another solicitor with an interest in trade mark work or a qualified trade mark attorney to join our team.
Supported by our partners, you will work in a client facing role dealing with all aspects of UK, European and international filling, undertaking searches, producing brand reports, dealing with objections, oppositions, co-existence arrangements and trade mark related contentious matters. Ideal candidates will be passionate about brand protection and providing the very best client service. In return we can offer the chance to play a key role in the future growth of our trade mark portfolio, supported by an ambitious and dynamic team. Thorntons is one of Scotland’s largest full service law firms with a network of 12 offices across 10 locations. While we anticipate this role will be based in our Edinburgh office, we could accommodate the right candidate in any of our locations.
